In addition to the continuous assessments and testing carried out on a regular basis, any child who is found to be having difficulty is tested individually using either the ASTON INDEX, which is a diagnostic tool for language difficulties, or the NFER-NELSON EMDK, which is a diagnostic tool for mathematical difficulties in young learners.
