Personal, Social & Health Education (P.S.H.E)

The purpose of Personal, Social & Health Education is to build a sense of positive self-esteem that will help children thrive both in and out of school. This is based on the belief that a positive self-concept is the basic foundation on which to build trust, openness, co-operation and sharing, which are essential ingredients in the teaching/learning process.

Both in the teachers' attitude during all classes and in specific P.S.H.E. sessions, we aim to create an environment of mutual support and caring, where each individual feels valued and free to express his ideas openly, while showing the same respect to all other members of the school.

The health component of the course teaches the children the basics of hygiene and how to take care of their bodies.
