Parental Involvement

	We believe that a good relationship between home and school is vital in ensuring that the child has the full support of all involved in his/her education.
	Any parent who wishes to discuss his/her child's progress with the teachers or with the headmistress is most welcome to do so and we encourage parental participation in this way.
	In addition, we have an Open Day each term when parents are invited to visit the school to see the work done by their children and to discuss their progress with the teachers.
	We welcome parents to share their special talents with the children by helping to run our after school activity clubs and we find parental assistance invaluable when organising class outings and school functions such as Sports Day, the School Fete or the annual School Play.
