The aim of the program is to encourage the development of specific skills which will serve the children both in secondary level education and for the rest of the children's lives. These skills will allow them to explore and investigate the world around them, and to develop an understanding of scientific phenomena and of procedures of scientific investigation. They will learn to ask questions, predict and hypothesize, to observe, measure and manipulate variables, to interpret their results and to evaluate scientific evidence.
